?00,000 is desired by Barrie to see us through next season. Why not put this amount as a down payment on Yorkstreet, and start afresh and debt free (many apologies to all those owed many thousands of pounds courtesy of Lavaflow Ltd)?PS. does anyone know if Jim's salary has been paid (I don't care how to be honest)?

mark

as a senior member of the acting trust board would you be kind enough to explain to everyone in plain english as to what,if anything, the trust is currently doing to help save BUFC

its so easy from the style of your posts to assume that they are spending all their time trying to dig dirt and undermine any possible bid to save BUFC but that would be unfair on the decent acting officers

Try joining the trust Amber. You might like it.  If you listen to Melvin Moxon on the many media interviews he does you will learn of the official trust view on matters.  As far as I know you will not join. Why is that as you seem so interested?

And by the way there is no seniority on the trust board. We all have one vote and our powers of persuasion and native wit.  I don't do authority or social hierarchy or perhaps you have not heard?

Mark, as THE founder of the Trust, why are you no longer even a member of the Trust? Are you still lifted as Trust secretary on the Trust website?

mark - once again you failed to answer a straight forward question

are only trust members allowed exclusive news on what they're doing behind the scenes and what their official trust view is on current matters

no wonder you struggle to get new members - statements like yours make the trust sound like the freemasons

Well you could spin it that 1 in 6 present today were Trust members but I will resist!

The Trust's official view can be gleaned from the website and via official releases to the media Amber.  I can't make policy on the hoof can I?!!

Free masons? Is that Phil and Jon's brigade?

As a trust member I havn't a clue what the acting board are doing probably because it amounts to a can o beans as they say. FWIW I support both the Trust and BUSA because both really should be one and ultimately I believe they will be but only when the knuckle heads can get over their personal agnsts against each other and realise whats for the best of the club.....I believe we are reaching that point.

BUSA will not even talk to the trust until the trust  has held elections SP.  I for one would have serious misgivings if Dale Allitt has any input. He has been seemingly complicit in anything that has happened to the club  under Lavaflow Ltd abd supported the relocation which would have left the club in even more debt.

I've always made that clear and that is why the BUSA hierarchy have me posted on their dartboard metaphorically speaking (or worse!)

But Mark, you have nothing to do with the trust any more. And even when you did have something to do with the trust, you attended about three meetings and took weeks to write up the minutes. Barrie Pierrpoint has done more for BUFC in the past six weeks that you have done in the past two years. Hat's off to Barrie!

Judge actions Shods, not words. Let's not get carried away with BP.

As yet nothing as come of his words. Not even reveal who the fcek SA are. Seems like a man hedging his bets.

Proof of the pudding and all that .....

I think most right minded people are cautious. But one person, who's not right in the head, seems to be out to destroy anything that doesn't centre around himself.  Camel, it would not be appropriate for Barrie to start naming names at SA when they have clearly asked him not to. Woudln't do his reputation any good whatover.

All the above just proves the point that everyone needs to grow up and realise what is for the greater good of the club....won't talk to the Trust ....mmm I seem to recall one or two joint statements....complicit apsolute tosh...Dale /BUSA had/has no authority within the club.  They may have power to influence but little of that'd I'd suggest, to be complicit would implie they had influence in running the club when in reality Busa involvement was as many would admit limited to buses and raffles and a pretence at fan engagement by the powers that be.

And why do you think they wont talk to the trust before elections Mark? Maybe because they know your still involved.

I see my suggestion yesterday that Barrie and Henry should work closely with Melvyn Moxon is now getting picked up elsewhere. If Mark Isaac has left the Trust, a major hurdle to being united will have been removed. Let's really get Chris Cook involved too.

Barrie, Henry, Cookie and Melvyn all working together, all members of the Trust.  Businesses and individuals encouraged to put funds into a safely guarded Trust bank account. I think the people of Boston will have trust in those four working together as a team.

Can someone try to rally this idea on impstalk? It would be great if Barrie, Henry, Melvyn and Cookie could hold a news conference together.  I think the people of Boston will get behind The Fantastic Four!

Not a bad idea - though BP still an unproven player at the moment - but what about the debt? This remains the noose around the club's neck.

I doubt local business could rally around for the sums that are required to pay off those debts Shods.

After we are liquidated, now that is a different story .... once we find a ground.

"
I have received the lastest press release this morning from the TRUST, and personally I was quite impressed with the ideas in it.

Barrie Pierpoint was asking for people to invest in the club but didn't really explain where the money would be held, so people were saying to me afterwards that they would not invest any money without knowing exactly where the monies were going. The TRUST have suggested and I agree with them that money could be held in the TRUST account/or a TRUST account, and the two parties could work together with Barrie and John joining the TRUST as acting officers for the time being.

Like I said before, personally I think this is a good idea. The TRUST are already on good terms with people like the HMRC and Supporters Direct, are a legal entity and everything financial has to be transparent.

Should this happen I think all supporters of Boston United will trust the TRUST more and the membership and funds should increase just because of this.

I know a lot of supporters do not see eye to eye with the TRUST but lets just get on with it and sort this mess out otherwise it will be too late!
