Happy, although I still feel that a property deal is around the corner, if not now maybe in a couple of years time. The cynic in me wonders if this deal would have gone through if there wasn't any prospect of a future deal.....but beggars can't be chosers. They seem pretty genuine in the statement. What did you make to Rodders statement and their apparent respect for the way he handled himself during negotiations shods?

You'd think that Chestnut Homes would now try to buy the ground off Malkie. As they said, they already own or control a heck of a,lot of land around Boston, which they could develop. I would imagine the York Street site is just another piece of land to add to their portfolio. I wonder if they can make money out of knocking down the Glider and redeveloping that site to help finance the club's debts? Anyway, I have no issues with the club moving ground provided it's a good stadium that we end up with.

Delighted. All things considered I don't see how there could have been a more positive outcome. We've got a team to watch next year, the club is owned by a local business, we can currently still play at York Street, no plans to redevelop, etc. etc. This has to be a pretty perfect scenario - many thanks to Chestnut Homes!

It would really put the icing on the cake if Ellie, Greaves and Talbot stayed too!

Only slight concern is a tenuous link between Chestnut Homes and the previous regime. They seem to be made up from the same set of letters. Rearrange the word CHESTNUT and you're left with a reminder of Lavaflow and everything they put us through - THE CNUTS.
